l'Incartata is a Farm House in the heart of Campaignia,
at Calvanico, near Salerno. It is situated in the The Regional Park of Monti Picentini, at the base of the slopes of Monte San Michele, 540 metre above sea level. Encompassing 32 hectors, biological cultivated, nocelleti, age-old horse chestnut and olive trees, from whose fruit a refined olive oil is produced, which serves our cooks for their choice dishes. The farmhouse is an ancient restructured building: the old stable has become the living room with a fireplace, the kitchen, modern and fully equipped, and the two roomed dinning area which can sit up to 50 people. In total 22 guest can be accommodated. The atmosphere is that of the hills and has the total tranquility typical of uncrowded places, despite being a brief distance from large cities such as Naples and Salerno. |

l'Incartata is set strategically in the centre of Campania, on the limit of the provinces of Naples, Salerno and Avellino, a short distance from the most important archaeological sites of the region (such as Velia and Paestum to the south, and Pompei, Ercolano and Opionti, towards the north) and from the spellbinding locations of the Costiera Amalfitana and Sorrentina(Vietri, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Erchie, Cetara, Conca dei marini, Sorrento, Massa Lubrense). |

Here you can choose in liberty the type of holiday most in tune with your needs: to rest, take the sun, read a good book immersed in the silence of the nature or go for a walk in the woods (you can arrive at the summit of San Michele, where you find a small church, the destination of pilgrimage) or in the mountains at 1500m., from which the view sweeps over the most beautiful locations of Campania. Lovers of mountain bikes can follow well traced routes , renting bikes from us, or go in the company of an expert if needed. There is also a welcoming and healthy environment for children : it is possible to play in the grass, on the slide, in the cottage.... | Those who love to eat will find a healthy regional cuisine: home made pasta dressed with fresh vegetables from our vegetable garden, absolutely genuine local meat, cakes such as the home-made crostate con marmellata or typical ones made from nuts and horse chestnuts. The d.o.c. wines are chosen with care from the local wine cellars.
